BRUNEL UNIVERSITY Temporary Lecturer in Sociology and Communications Appointment is likely to be made on Lecturer 'A' scale (point 29-33) dependant on experience and qualifications. Sociology and Communications Group, School of Social Sciences, Uxbridge, West London. We have a temporary lecturer post available for the Autumn term (24 September to 14 December) 2007 to cover staff absence due to research leave. This involves contributing to modules on media audiences (Postgraduate, Undergraduate level 3); media, representation and identity (Undergraduate level 1); and qualitative research methods in the Human Sciences (Undergraduate, level 2). Existing teaching materials/ suggested activities will be made available to the successful applicant to minimise preparation time though there is the opportunity to develop sessions in line with your research interests.
