Our Information Team is working on the front line, ensuring the GP profession, Government, NHS organisations, and College staff are informed with high quality information on professional issues and developments.


We are looking for an experienced Information Professional to play a key role in our small team. You will deliver a range of information products, including electronic bulletins, information sheets, and summary papers. Maintain web pages, databases, and FAQs. In addition, you will be responding to a high volume of external and internal enquiries, and carrying out in-depth research on specific topics.

 

You will have a good awareness of health care issues and the Parliamentary process, together with excellent writing and summarisation skills, and experience of enquiry handling. You will be familiar with research techniques, including information retrieval for literature searching. You will be a clear and persuasive communicator with GPs and staff at all levels.

 

The post is initially on a 6 month fixed-term contract, with the strong possibility of leading to a permanent position.
