We recently attended the 3rd UK Clinical
Librarian Conference in
The idea is to provide an opportunity for
peer-support to develop and improve search skills in an informal setting. The
groups meet 4 times a year to discuss, reflect and share approaches to a set
search question. Nia Roberts kindly agreed to us including the link to

We thought this was a very interesting idea and we
wondered if anyone knew of anything similar currently happening in the North
East? If there isn’t anything like this we wondered if there would
be interest in having a similar group in the North East?
The group would be for anyone in the area who carries
out health/medical related searches – librarians, library assistants,
information professionals etc and would provide an opportunity to develop
search skills and techniques together.
We would be happy to be responsible for the
organization of the group. Please let us know your views.
