A REMINDER!
CILIP President talks on international matters
Ian Snowley, President of CILIP and Director of Academic Services at
the University of London Research Library Services, will give a talk
at the ILIG (International Library and Information Group) 2007 AGM on
20 June. The talk is entitled 'Librarianship - an International
Profession: my experiences of working across borders'.
The meeting will be held at CILIP HQ, London at 5pm followed by
refreshments in the Ewart Room at 5.30pm. Ian's talk starts at 6pm,
followed by questions and discussion until 7.45pm.
The name of the winner of the 2007 ILIG Award will also be announced.
This award is offered annually to someone who has made a real
difference to a community through their work in library and
information services in countries outside of the UK.
The event is free and all are welcome.
