Apologies for cross-posting.

Dear colleagues,

More and more information is now accessed electronically. While some of
this is well presented and easy to access, a lot of it is not. NICE are
keen that the electronic versions of its guidance improve not just
access to this important material, but also its relevance to the end
user.

NICE's Electronic Guidance Access Project (EGAP) will lead to important
changes in the way its guidance is presented, as well as shaping how
people search for and access information about NICE guidance. To help us
ensure that what we do properly reflects end-user requirements, NICE
wants to hear what you have to say.

We are holding a workshop for users of NICE public health guidance on 6
July between 10:30am and 2.30pm at the NICE Manchester office, Peter
House, Oxford Street. At the workshop we will be exploring how people
currently access and use NICE public health guidance and what more we
could be doing to make it easier to both access and use. Lunch and
refreshments will be provided and standard travel expenses will be
covered.

We would also like to work with users of NICE technology appraisal
guidance, either to aid clinical decision making, plan or commission
services, educate or fulfil governance functions. We will set up a
virtual (online) community to help us engage with users throughout the
lifetime of the project and you are cordially invited to join this
community.

If you work in public health and would like to attend this workshop
please contact [log in to unmask] (0161 209 3882) or

of NICE technology appraisal guidance and would like to join our online
community, please contact Jennifer or Ian as above.

Best wishes,

Marion Spring
