New to ECU’s disability web pages this month is
information about a resource produced by the charity Papyrus, which has been
designed specifically for HEI staff, containing information about the signs of
a young person in distress. Papyrus plan to make the packs available to
HEIs through a nationwide series of seminars. We’d also like to draw your

government initiatives relating to the employment of disabled people, including ‘Employ
Ability’ and the Health, Work and Well-being Strategy.

Finally, the DRC has stated that its new guidance for post-16
