The
The Disability Service in Student Services has
undergone immense change in recent years and is currently consolidating its
remit with a focus on inclusive practice and whole institution collaboration. It
is an exciting time in our development. We are ambitious and want to build on
our success in order to provide our students with the best disability support
experience in the sector.
We are looking for a new
colleague who shares our creativity, energy, ambition and our passion for
equality and diversity to join our team
in the Disability Service to help manage the administration of the support
worker system which includes dyslexia tutoring, mental health mentoring and IT
training.
You should be educated to A level standard or
equivalent, degree desirable, and must have excellent communication and IT
skills as well as relevant administrative experience. Awareness of Disabled
Student Allowances legislation and experience of working in higher education or
further education would be desirable.
