Digital Broadway

Digital Broadway features digital art and moving image exhibitions on several different screens around the building. With the financial support of the Arts Council England Digital Broadway is commissioning artists working with new media, digital film and video for the Glass Screen and Bar Screen.

With a launch event on June 14, 6pm Digital Broadway premiers the commissions on both screens and artists Annie and Ellie will talk about their work.

GLASS SCREEN

On the Mezz floor, the new Glass Screen shows back-projected artwork with a perfect view from Broad Street. The Arts Council England supported commissions will be exclusive for this special screen.

The first commission is a very personal and innovative piece about Broadway by Nottingham artist Ellie Harrison about her experience working as a cinema usher at Broadway and the films she has seen as part of her work.
