Biostatistician Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics Unit Murdoch Childrens Research Institute We are seeking to fill a new position for a biostatistician at MCRI, an internationally recognised child and adolescent health research institute based at the Royal Children's Hospital (RCH), Melbourne, encompassing laboratory, clinical and public health approaches to research. The Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics Unit (CEBU) is supported jointly by the MCRI and the University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics to provide training and support in research design and statistical analysis. The new appointee will be responsible for providing expert biostatistical advice and analysis, collaborating in the conduct and promotion of high-quality research (with a particular focus on randomised controlled trials), and contributing to CEBU's training program in quantitative research methods. You will also be encouraged to develop independent research projects where appropriate. This position requires a high level of training and technical skills in statistics, preferably at PhD level, strong motivation for working in health research, and excellent communication skills.
