Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Dear All =20 Our current policy with our journals is that they are reference only, and we do not issue them. However, we are receiving an increasing number of requests to allow users (particularly staff) to borrow issues. How do other institutions manage their journals? Has anybody recently moved from reference only to issuing, or vice versa; if you do loan out journals, how long are they issued for and do you apply any restrictions? Any advice/comments would be helpful! =20 Many thanks, Claire=20 =20 Claire Stevens --------------------- Assistant Librarian College of St.Mark & St.John Derriford Road Plymouth PL6 8BH Email: [log in to unmask] Tel: 01752 636700 ext.3118 =20 -------------------------------------------------------------------------= ------------------------------------------ THINK - Do you really need to print out this email?
