Dear VBM experts Recently I submitted one VBM study for mesial temporal lobe epilepsy, and received a review. One reviewer said "white matter images should be normalizaed to white matter template". But I normalized it by gray matter normalization matrix, and got good results. What is more appropriate choice, and what is advantage or disadvantage using white matter template.
