PROJECT MANAGER - DARWIN 200
3 year fixed term contract
Salary c. £29K - £35K pa plus excellent benefits
A new opportunity has arisen at The Wellcome Trust within the Special
Projects team, engaging the public with biomedical science and the issues
it raises. The role of the Project Manager will be to develop a series of
initiatives as part of the celebrations for the 200th anniversary of the
birth of Charles Darwin.
Candidates will have a sciences (or related) degree and experience of
working with national/regional organisations involved in public engagement
with science. Proven project management skills and prior experience of
commissioning external agencies are also essential requirements, as is the
ability to lead projects involving a diverse range of people. Experience
of education, broadcast media and/or arts would be useful but is not
essential.
