On Thursday 14 June 2007 the Swansea Bay Branch of the Institute of Welsh Affairs are holding a Seminar entitled Welsh Science: Unsung Past, Uncertain Future at the Royal Institution of South Wales, Swansea Museum. The seminar is free and starts at 5.30 pm, with a buffet at 8 pm. Historians will look back at some great contributions made by Welsh scientists over the last two centuries and their role in developing their contemporary society, and a panel of scientists will speculate on the future for science in Wales. Contributors will include Louise Miskell, historian and author; Neville Evans of the British Association for the Advancement of Science; Professor Mike Charlton of Swansea University and Professor Anthony Campbell of Cardiff University.
