LEEDS METROPOLITAN UNIVERSITY Ref: FAS/LSL/DM/KV FACULTY OF ARTS AND SOCIETY SCHOOL OF CULTURAL STUDIES Lecturer/Senior Lecturer: Democracy and the Media Salary - Lecturer to £31,587, Senior Lecturer to £34,678 (bar) £39,033 The School of Cultural Studies is seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Democracy and the Media to contribute to the development and delivery of BA (Hons) History & Politics and BA (Hons) Media & Popular Culture. We are particularly interested in applicants with teaching and research interests in the history and contemporary role of the media in liberal democracies, e-democracy and new media as constitutive of new forms of political organisation and action.
