An opportunity has arisen to join a team offering an
innovative library and knowledge service for Rotherham Primary Care Trust. This
service supports the primary care team including GPs, community nurses, allied
health professionals, public health specialists and health service managers in
accessing high quality information and research evidence to inform patient care
and health policy.
You will play a key role in this service. As well as working in the library to
help users to find books, journals, equipment and teaching packs to assist them
in their work, you will provide administrative support to the team and respond
to enquiries for health-related information. Training will be available.
You should have good IT skills including experience
of using Microsoft Office and the internet. You should have strong
interpersonal skills, be able to work your own initiative and be committed to
providing a high quality service. You should have experience of working in a
clerical or administrative role and be qualified to NVQ level 3 or have
equivalent knowledge.
