The great Argentinian musician combined elements of classical, jazz and traditional music in his compositions, leading to a revolutionary style: el 'Tango Nuevo'. Inspired by this, DelPlata also spans genres. Their eclectic repertoire ranges from 1920 to 2005, although Piazzolla's masterpieces remain at the heart of their performances.
