LEARNING ASSISTANT

£20,610 p.a., fixed term until 31 March 2008

 

The Museum of London is looking for a Learning Assistant to help deliver the learning elements of the Exploring 20th century London website including a new children's area (www.20thcenturylondon.org.uk).

 

Working under the direction of the Web Manager, you will assist with research and provision of information for the project, write engaging and accessible text, and liaise with the Learning department and curators. You will play an active role in generating and developing ideas for online learning activities. You will also be expected to help with project administration including arranging meetings and minute taking.

 

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm for communicating history to a general audience, have a background in developing online resources for children, and have an awareness of the varied learning needs of different audiences.
