'Learning from the past': Using Archives in an Educational Setting with Children and Young People June 4th, 11am - 4.20pm A one day training course held at the East Riding of Yorkshire Archives and Local Studies, Beverley This training event is intended to give archivists who are interested in working with children, the opportunity to gain practical experience and insights into educational projects and classroom techniques. There will be speakers from a variety of local educational projects talking about their experiences of working with children and young people - what worked, what didn't and what they would do differently next time. Experts from the Archives for Education and Learning Group will lead practical workshops on running classroom sessions and outreach activities.
