I am thinking of going. Would be good if you did too. Have you signed up
yet? I have the form. Haven't done it yet. Wasn't sure about leaving the
babe again.

> We are pleased to announce this year's ADM-HEA Annual Forum: VISUAL.
> Friday, 11 May 2007 10.30 - 16.00

>
> Custard Factory, Gibb Square, Birmingham, B9 4AA

> This event will be formed around discussions of visual analysis,
> communication literacy and research; an area of debate which cuts across
> the art, design and media practice subjects, media and communications and
> history of art and design.
>
> Forms of visual analysis and research are common in all these areas
> and interest is growing in the applications of visual literacy and
> communication. In response to this, the ADM-HEA is currently funding four
> research and development projects that range from an examination of the
> role of sketchbooks in visual research to the use of on-line visual
> research databases.
>
> Discussions will be formed around practitioners from education and
> industry proposing themes and chairing groups with the aim of delivering
> framework papers covering the key issues and scope of their discussion.
> The intention of the ADM-HEA Subject Centre is to
> publish the papers later this year.
>
> Programme:
