Hi
We signed a re-distribution agreement of Real player with real
in the UK and package it up using Studio Admin and distribute it using
SMS. Studio admin allows us to strip out all the other stuff that comes
with the free version such as adverts popping up and stopping the update
checks...
An alternative we have also used is Real Alternative codec for
Windows Media player which then allows streaming of real player audio and video
to be played. And that is free too
When I spoke to the guys at Real about enterprise manager, it
would have cost us around 10k but would then include real player too.
Enterprise manager allows you to run streaming servers and manage realplayer
centrally.

Subject: Realplayer alternatives and Manager
Hi
Does any one
use an alternative to Realplayer or use the Enterprise Edition and the
associated manager.
If so could
you let me what you are using and how you deploy it. As regards the Enterpise
Manager how much have you had to pay for it if anything?
Thanks
Robin Ferris
