This one looks like an installation problem, whereby the files have not been put into the appropriate subdirectories. There is probably a setting in the package you used for unpacking the spm5.tar.gz file, which will unpack the files into the correct subdirectories.

Subject: [SPM] run spm5 problem
I have a problem to run spm5.
SPM open in fMRI mode with three windows. I select 'New Realign: Estimate and Reslice'. I open the newly created 'Realign:Estimate and Reslice' option, highlight data, select 'New Session' and highlight the newly created 'session' option. I select 'Specify Files' and use the SPM file selector to choose all of functional images 'f*.img'. I save the job file as realign.mat and press RUN button in the graphics window. After pressing the RUN button I have received information:
???error using=>class
The CLASS function must be called from a class constructor
??? Error while evaluating uicontrol Callback
Could you tell me what is wrong?
