Dear All, I know it might seem a long way off until BERA 2007 at the Institute of Education in London but our plans are already well underway in our SIG and we have (as of two days ago) the dates and times for our symposia. Enabling Practitioner Research Through Educational Research Mentoring Session: Main Conference Parallel Session 8 Date and Time: 8/9/2007 from 9:00:00 AM to 10:30:00 AM Using Multi Media to Promote Educational Research and Practice Session: Main Conference Parallel Session 2 Date and Time: 6/9/2007 from 9:00:00 AM to 10:30:00 AM Our SIG has excellent individual proposals accepted for presentation and these have already been grouped into sessions for the conference: With IT problems at in-conference the deadline for grouping was tight. I would normally have consulted you before grouping. This year there simply wasn't enough time but I think you'll agree that the individual paper in our sessions fit wll together around the key words and titles. Apologies for any cross posting but I am aware that some of members are not yet on the BERA-MENTORING-COACHING JIScmail list where we circulate details of forthcoming events and share ideas and comments. If you are not a member of the JISCmail list it is really easy to join here: http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/BERA-MENTORING-COACHING.html If you have any problems joining please email me. I'm happy to help you. Best wishes, Sarah PS We need to expand our membership so we have a 'representative' perspective on mentoring across as many professional and academic fields as possible. Please encourage students and colleagues to join. Sarah Fletcher http://www.TeacherResearch.net
