National Institute For Excellence In The Creative Industries(tm) Doctoral Research Scholarships (x2) The National Institute for Excellence in the Creative Industries(tm) at the University of Wales, Bangor is seeking two doctoral scholars, in the areas of Creative Writing and Film and/or Media Studies. This dynamic new Institute is leading the University's Creative Industries initiative as part of a substantial investment fostering international excellence. Applicants must be aiming to achieve, and sustain, doctoral research output of international-level excellence. The National Institute would be interested in receiving applications from persons with research interests in one or more of the following areas: creative writing and/or film and/or media studies. The successful candidate will complement this exciting National Institute's existing strengths within a multidisciplinary Creative Industries environment. The appointments will be made from August 2007 to August 2010. The Scholarships will be valued at £8,000 per annum, in the first instance.
