SALARY:		£21,985 - £31,004 PER ANNUM

HOURS:		FULL TIME - 37½ PER WEEK (hours negotiable)

One of the largest specialist mental health and learning disabilities
trusts in the country, Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Trust was formed
in April 2006 following the merger of two highly successful
organisations.  

With an annual income of almost £200m, the trust employs about 5,000
staff, working from over 200 sites across County Durham, the Tees Valley
and North East Yorkshire.

It provides a range of mental health, learning disability and addictive
behaviour services to the 1.4m people living across the three counties,
as well as some specialist services to other parts of northern England.

We are looking for a forward thinking, highly motivated, chartered
information professional to manage and lead our small team spread over
four main sites.  The successful candidate will have a background in
healthcare library services, experience of supporting evidence based
practice, using electronic resources and hybrid collections.

You must have the ability to manage staff, budget and resources
effectively and be enthusiastic about delivering a customer focused
service.  Good ICT, communication and organisational skills are required
along with a flexible approach.

You should have a degree in Library and Information Studies and a
minimum of 2 years post qualification experience of working in a health
library.

full driving licence and access to a car for work purposes. If
