Dear All,

I suspect that many of you will already have seen page 11 of this week's HSJ. It reinforces what Michelle's has heard (see her message below).

Here's the some of the text from the CLA's message in the HSJ:

"(CLA) and the NHS have agreed to reinstate the central photocopying and scanning licence for the NHS in England...For more information about the CLA licence please call  020 7400 3140 or email [log in to unmask]"

Regards

Anne

Subject: Copyright Licence

Dear Colleagues

As a Trust which purchased an individual licence I have just received a letter from the CLA telling me that the new central licence permits photocopying and scanning as the individual public body one did - i.e. back to what we had under the old central licence.

As the entire NHS is licenced "copies made under the licence can be exchanged between Trusts" - covering ILLs!

Also the Trust will be refunded directly - not sure if I'm brave enough to ask for a share as we did the work persuading management to buy it!

Regards

Michelle
