Hi *,
I've encountered a strange (for me)
problem with the DPM (server/disk,version 3.0.15-0 - PPS grid) machine:
there's a file on this server (and registered
on the LFC) which cannot be deleted: if we try the dpm service dies with
no log on the server:
UI $ lfc-ls -l /grid/diligent/watermarking/apps/videoprocessor
-rw-rw-r-- 1 104
101 232325
Nov 27 15:52 /grid/diligent/watermarking/apps/videoprocessor
UI $ lcg-del -v --vo diligent -s
grid-eo-store06.esrin.esa.int lfn:/grid/diligent/watermarking/apps/videoprocessor
VO name: diligent
Using GUID : 483a2fd7-de6a-4fe7-b5f7-aea1667a953c
set timeout to 0 seconds
Communication error
srm://grid-eo-store06.esrin.esa.int/dpm/esrin.esa.int/home/diligent/generated/2006-11-27/file2eee499b-f3b1-43d7-83c2-c8a9e2956f32
is NOT deleted
lcg_del: Communication error on send
and then I need to start again the service:
DPM $ service dpm start
on the server itself I've a strange
behaviour listing this file:
DPM $ dpns-ls /dpm/esrin.esa.int/home/diligent/generated/2006-11-27
file2eee499b-f3b1-43d7-83c2-c8a9e2956f32
(<== got output)
DPM $ dpns-ls -l /dpm/esrin.esa.int/home/diligent/generated/2006-11-27
(<==
long listing)
OR
DPM $ dpns-ls /dpm/esrin.esa.int/home/diligent/generated/2006-11-27/file2eee499b-f3b1-43d7-83c2-c8a9e2956f32
DPM $
( <=======no output)
All other files can be added and removed,
so:
1) any clue why this happen?
2) I need to delete this entry: I think
I can directly manipulate the mysql entry but...which are the tables/db
involved? I fear I can delete some entries but not all creating some inconsistences...
Thanks and cheers
