GIS Analyst, Glasgow, £18-25 per hour 9 month Contract (potential for extension). My public sector client is looking for an expert GIS Analyst to work within its Internal GIS team. This is a 9 month contract and an ideal opportunity for an experienced GIS candidate to gain valuable experience with a well respected public sector client. You will have proven commercial experience within Geographical Information Systems (GIS) having experience in producing user and guidance notes for GIS applications. Essential experience is working with GIS Applications you may have experience with software packages such as: ESRI Arc GIS or Smallworld GIS. Any use of Visio advantageous with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. The use of digital third-party data products for analytical purposes is required for this position, and any proven experience in producing and maintaining digital Ordnance Survey maps would be advantageous.
