9 Month GIS Contract Edinburgh My public sector client is looking for an expert GIS user to work within its Internal Spatial Systems team. This is a 9 month contract and an ideal opportunity for a qualified candidate to gain valuable experience with a well respected public sector client. You will be an expert GIS user, with proven commercial experience within Geographical Information Systems (GIS). Preferably you will have experience in producing user and guidance notes for GIS applications. The ideal candidate will also have experience of Smallworld GIS and Visio, along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. The use of digital third-party data products for analytical purposes is required for this position, and any proven experience in producing and maintaining digital Ordnance Survey maps would be advantageous.
