Through Strategic Commissioning funding the National Gallery is able to offer a limited number of free places to museum and gallery educators on the annual Take One Picture Conference, Friday 4 May 2007. Take One Picture is the National Gallery's outreach scheme for UK primary schools. Now in its 13th year, it has been possible to gain real insight into the potential of using paintings in the classroom for cross-curricular teaching and learning. This conference will share experiences from participating teachers and members of the National Gallery Education team. It will also be a chance to see the newly opened Take One Picture 2007 exhibition in Room 1.
