Dear Fellow List Members My name is Alison Jeffers and I am in my third year of PhD research which is investigating the role of theatre and performance in relation to refugees in the UK. This work is taking place at the University of Manchester in the Drama Department and is part of In Place of War, a three-year AHRC-funded project which is researching into the role of theatre and performance in war zones and other places that are affected by conflict. This summer there is a large international conference called War in our World taking place at the University and which might interest some of you.
