Middle Temple Library - Assistant Librarian


 

Middle Temple Library delivers a high profile service to judges, barristers, pupils and student members.  It combines a notable history with a fast and efficient modern legal service.  We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focussed information professional to work as part of a small, dynamic, forward thinking team.  We welcome all qualified applicants, including new graduates, who fit the person specification.

 

Duties will include staffing the enquiry desk, and responsibility for our extensive European Union Collection.  Full training will be provided; basic knowledge of EU legal materials is an advantage.  Excellent communication and customer care skills are essential.  Experience of working within a legal environment and using electronic legal resources is desirable.

 

Hours are 35 per week and you will work one late night.  Salary is £22,000 - £24,000 depending on experience. The Inn offers a range of benefits including a non-contributory pension scheme, and a private health care scheme.
