Lecturer in Historical Archaeology Department of Archaeology and Anthropology University of Bristol Reference Number: 13139 Grade: Lecturer Grade B Salary: £30,013 - £39,160 Timescale of appointment: Permanent Details: You will have a strong track record of research and publication within the field of Historical Archaeology and will be expected to initiate and pursue individual and/or collaborative research in this and in related fields. In addition, you will contribute to the normal range of teaching and administrative duties required of staff within the department. Teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels will include the delivery and development of units covering a range of theoretical, methodological and topical areas, as well as the co-ordination of MA programmes in Historical Archaeology of the Modern World and Archaeology for the Screen Media, and supervision of postgraduate research students. Currently, the teaching of archaeology and anthropology at undergraduate level is delivered via degrees in Archaeology, in Archaeology and Anthropology, and in the Joint Honours degrees of Ancient History and Archaeology, and of Archaeological Sciences.
