Dear Colleague There are still some spaces available on the following workshops Netskills will be running at the University of Wales Institute Cardiff in April: 1. Effective e-Learning with Moodle, 17th April ----------------------------------------------------- The Moodle learning environment is becoming increasingly popular in the UK education sector. It is free to use, having been developed through the Open Software model, and is designed using sound pedagogical principles. This workshop introduces Moodle, its main features and demonstrates why Moodle is different from other learning environments 2. Developing Problem Based e-Learning, 18th April ----------------------------------------------------- Fed up with passive, page turning e-learning? Engage your learners in active, dynamic, enquiry based e-learning by developing realistic problem solving activities that encourage the application of analytical, creative and critical thinking skills. 3. Mobile Learning: Education on Demand, 19th April ----------------------------------------------------- Mobile Learning: the next stage of e-Learning, or a whole new learning experience? This workshop explores the principles and practice of m-Learning. It is for anyone who is interested in the application of mobile technologies in education, or those who simply wish to know more about the emerging technologies and potential uses.
