Update - Although it is not listed among the Mac compatible products on the Adesso website, what I am looking for does exist.  In case it helps anyone else, I found this through searching for "mac" on the Adesso site:

I don't really want one of those split keyboard adjustable-types if there is a fixed-type around and I would prefer an integral rather than add-on touchpad. So far my Googling has only come up with split keyboard adjustable-types with an add-on touchpad.

I would be grateful for any leads :) 

ps. This is for my own personal use - my Windows-laptop has spluttered and died and I have use of a Mac PowerBook G4 while I find out if it is fixable and for longer if it cannot be resurrected.
