Steven

As one of the list owners of archives-nra I try to encourage and allow free discussion. In the past there was a tendency (especially on Friday afternoons) to go away from the main focus of the list.

There is also a need to respond to users requests - there were only one or two comments relating to the original "stop bleating" message and this quickly turned into a positive and constructive discussion of direct relevance and interest to many members of the list. I felt that the contributions from the various courses, alongside that from a current student were amongst the most valid in the entire debate in that they have direct knowledge of the current process and situation.

There have been as far as I am aware no requests for us to take further action. Comments can be sent to the list-owners at the following e-mail address: [log in to unmask]

Please also use this address if you are interested in volunteering to be one of the list-owners.

best wishes
Simon
