Its principal agenda focuses on researching methods to measure and monitor the quality of care in the health sector at a national level. The CRE-PS is located within the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine on the Alfred Hospital campus of Monash University. The CRE-PS has an annual operating budget of approximately $1M AUD. CRE-PS are seeking a highly motivated person to play a lead role nationally in initiating new innovative work in the application of statistical design and data analysis to measure quality of care in the health sector. Work will be undertaken in collaboration with the principal investigators and with the CRE-PS national and international colleagues to develop a research agenda in this field.
