Hi Barry. When you say she uses the chair joystick to change between typing and mousekeys --- I have just realised what you mean. Would it be possible to provide real time mouse control from the wheelchair joystick, it sounds like she could access a mode switch of some sort, she would then have access to the keyboard and mouse without faffing around with macros and function keys etc. We have used the DX IRIS system and the joystick-less version of the PointIt Ir interface which again connects to the DX system. I believe you can get a Bluetooth enabled R-Net joystick from PG Drives, depends what loom he has on his chair. Much easier than using MouseKeys I would have thought. The separate number pad doesn't achieve our aim of trying to cut down the range of movement needed. At the moment the client (CP teenager) drives her powered wheelchair left or right to move between typing & mousekeys on a standard keyboard, which isn't a terrible solution in itself! You could try a macro of ASCII{144} normally the numlock key You could try using a macro to capture fn+numlock and then play it back as a toggle. The keys that map to the number-pad keys each have a square around the number / symbol to identify them and appear on the following keys: Standard Key / Number-pad Key (enclosed in a square) 7 = 7 8 = 8 9 = 9 0 = * U = 4 I = 5 O = 6 J = 1 K = 2 L = 3 M = 0 . = . ; = + P = / / = - Enter = Enter To get the number-pad key, I have to press and hold down the Fn key and press the required "mouse" key. So once MouseKeys is enabled, to move the mouse to the left, for example, I would hold down the Fn key and U. I'm sure I should know. In the limited time I had with it, I got no response, but the standard keyboard was OK. Tried alt+ left shift+ numlock but no joy.
