Professor Mirko Diksic, PhD

Dear Mirko,

Looks like… unestimable block effects! How did you put in your data? If you’re after correlations between one (or more) covariates and some images, you’re normally asked to select all your images first (for SPM2, the sw* ones – I assume you’ve got ligand PET data and one image/subj?). You then enter the covariate – say, age – in the form of an n-vector with n= number of images. For example, if you had 30 images, you would write your subjects’ ages, e.g. “30 31 25 20 45 …. 30” into the box, hit return, then give the covariate a name, say “Age”, follow the remainder of the instructions [I’m not in front of a matlab running machine and can’t check exactly] and estimate.

As it’s difficult to avoid typos, do write the vector in a text editor and copy&paste all numbers.

Good luck,

Alexander

Subject: [SPM] Multi-subject:covariets only error

Dear All,

I have a group of subjects and I would like to evaluate only covariets. But after selecting this and entering my images I got an error message (see below). Could anyone suggest to me what is wrong?

Many thanks,

Mirko Diksic.
