Third Annual Personal Tutoring and

Academic Advising Conference:

An International Perspective

 

Thursday 3 May 2007 – The John McIntyre Centre,

 

The University of Edinburgh

 

The third annual conference on Personal Tutoring is being co-sponsored by the US-based, the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA). The event has been planned jointly by the Higher Education Academy in conjunction with the London College of Communication, and Southampton Solent and Westminster universities. This year's conference will take place at the John McIntyre Centre at the University of Edinburgh and participants will present posters and workshops as well as papers.

The conference themes will range from evidence informed practice to providing resources for personal tutoring and NACADA's involvement will ensure an international perspective. Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Susan Campbell, Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs, The University of Southern Maine & President of NACADA.

Please note that registration closes on 18 April and there will be a minimal booking fee of £50 per person.
