Elsevier has decided to phase out all Science Direct Web Editions for academic and
government customers and new customers will no longer be able to sign up. All
Web Editions will be discontinued as of March 31st 2008. The SD website says...
"Web Editions were first introduced in 1999 but
not longer meet the needs of our customers." [Did they
ever...???] "ScienceDirect has since developed many valuable
alternative options that you may want to consider.
