today that Palgrave Macmillan will publish IMF Staff Papers, on behalf of
the IMF. IMF Staff Papers is one of the leading international economics
and finance peer-reviewed research journals and has been published since
1950.

David Bull, Journals Director of Palgrave Macmillan, said:
“We are delighted to work in partnership with the IMF to publish such a
prestigious title as IMF Staff Papers. We believe that the quality of the
journal and its editorial processes, allied to our global journals
publishing infrastructure and outreach, will enable this authoritative and
celebrated journal to prosper yet further.”

The first volume to be published by Palgrave Macmillan will be Volume 54,
beginning in April 2007. The IMF and Palgrave Macmillan have worked

About the International Monetary Fund
The IMF is an international organization of 185 member countries. It was
established in 1944 to promote international monetary cooperation,
exchange stability, and orderly exchange arrangements; to foster economic
growth and high levels of employment; and to provide temporary financial
