Apologies for cross posting

The 2nd Evidence in Practice Award is to be extended until 13th April 2007.

If you haven’t already applied, do consider doing so – you could win a free place on day two of the 3rd Clinical Librarian Conference in York to receive your award, a Personal Digital Assistant and £500 each (for a librarian & clinician team) to attend further professional development events. This is open to all Librarians, not just Clinical Librarians.

In approximately 750 words, can you describe a case study where your work has influenced clinical practice? We are looking for examples of good evidence-based librarianship practice in a healthcare setting, examples of where librarians and information professionals have influenced clinical practice and patient outcomes. The competition is open to partnerships of clinical and health professionals in the UK

Your work may have led to change in clinical practice, or assisted in identifying where further research is needed, or even assisted in conducting clinical research.

This may also be an excellent opportunity to discover where the library has had an impact in the clinical setting if you don’t already know!

The winning partnership will each receive a Personal Digital Assistant (two available), £500 each towards attendance at a professional conference (£1000 in total) or course of their choice, plus a free delegate place at the 3rd Clinical Librarian conference (see link below).

Prizes are jointly sponsored by NLH and BMJ Group.
