Can anyone tell me when the term "language poetry" as in L=A=N=G=U=A=G=E was first used? The earliest contextual quote we have is for "language poet" from 1982, which seems rather late. Anyone providing a referenced earlier quote should see it appearing in the updated OED. Thanks Giles
