Plant anatomical literature (wood, underground parts, seeds, pollen) is fairly well covered by the Plant Micromorphology Database at Kew: http://www.kew.org/kbd/ A search on Oxalis tuberosa throws up a Russian reference from 1986 that might be relevant, and nothing else. However the database doesn't cover archaeological literature.
