Dear all,
 I don't know how many of you are doing a general preamble to your GESs which I felt necessary as there can be a feeling of    'Why do we need a GES?'. 
 I thought it important to remember ethnic minority women in all this  and found this recently published report in my searches  (see below) .  Further details can be found on the EOC website and there is an email address to write to if you want a copy.

The EOC have recently published 'Moving on up: Ethnic minority women at work'  2007 the results of a two year study which has found that Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Black Caribbean women find it more difficult to get jobs and when in jobs, to get promotion in spite of their aspirations and good qualifications.
