The University of New South Wales' Initiative for Health and Human Rights (IHHR) will be hosting Australia's first intensive short course on Health, Development and Human Rights from 16-20 July 2007. The course is created and taught by the multi-faculty IHHR, which derives its members from the Faculties of Medicine, Arts and Social Sciences and Law and includes pre-eminent international speakers. The course will establish the key concepts and frameworks of the three domains of health, development and human rights, before exploring the reciprocal links between the three fields. The final sessions of the course will explore the applications of these concepts and methods to particular areas of relevance to the participants. Both UNSW students and professional participants are welcomed to apply and enrol in the course.
