The University of New South Wales' Initiative for Health and Human Rights 
(IHHR) will be hosting Australia's first intensive short course on Health, 
Development and Human Rights from 16-20 July 2007. The course is created 
and taught by the multi-faculty IHHR, which derives its members from the 
Faculties of Medicine, Arts and Social Sciences and Law and includes 
pre-eminent international speakers. The course will establish the key 
concepts and frameworks of the three domains of health, development and 
human rights, before exploring the reciprocal links between the three 
fields. 

The final sessions of the course will explore the applications of 
these concepts and methods to particular areas of relevance to the 
participants. Both UNSW students and professional participants are
