It is policy at the University of Newcastle in Australia that students must be able to view their Turnitin reports before final submission. A student cannot be penalised for plagiarism if they have not had the opportunity to see and change the originality report prior to final submission of a final submission. This is a very powerful way of learning about plagiarism.
