PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE CPD CONTEXT
28 March 2007, Sheffield

In the context of CILIP's Framework of Qualifications, professionals will be expected to take greater responsibility for their own CPD as they move through the stages of professional recognition towards Chartership and on to Fellowship.

This course will look at a series of broad based personal planning tools that, used in the context of broader organisational development, will enable staff to become more purposeful and effective in their personal development, in the work and professional context and also help them to facilitate the development of their colleagues.

BY THE END OF THE EVENT PARTICIPANTS WILL HAVE:
·	identified their own CPD needs and be able to help others do the same
·	developed a clearer sense of how these can be achieved and how they can help others to do the same
·	had the chance to review their potential at work and in the rest of their lives

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Staff managers, training officers, career evolving library & information workers

SPECIAL NOTES
All sessions require a high level of involvement and participation.
