With apologies for cross posting. eBOOKS SALES MANAGER OSM_B1797 Taylor & Francis Group, an international publisher of 1200 journals, 16,500 eBooks, and of over 2,500 new Books each year is seeking a highly self-motivated Sales Manager, with previous experience in either eBooks, Library or Journals publishing. eBooks now represent a significant and increasing part of the Group's overall revenue streams and the successful candidate will be responsible for increasing eBook sales in line with Company strategy. The role requires the ability to work autonomously as well as being a collaborative team player. It involves close liaison with the Journal Sales team, the UK and International Books Sales teams, regional overseas offices of Taylor & Francis, and an established network of library customers and agents. As well as selling to libraries directly a core part of the job involves close liaison with our network of independent third party eBook aggregators. Whilst possessing strong organisation and communication skills, the successful applicant will be results orientated, will have a proven track record of being pro-active and will be at ease negotiating high level contracts. Importantly, they will also be expected to contribute to our eBook strategy through a combination of market awareness, analysis of customer needs, analysis of competitor's offerings and by identifying business and market trends.
