This is to announce a joint Conference and Workshop organised by The Society for Environmental Geochemistry and Health, and the Health Protection Agency in Liverpool UK on June 4-7 2007. http://www.segh.net/liverpool_conf.htm

The initial Conference (June 4-5) is the 25th European SEGH Conference, focusing on Understanding environmental contributions to the burden of disease. Deadline for abstracts is 30th March.

The subsequent Workshop (NERC/ESRC funded, June 5-7) aims to bring together expertise in Environment and Human Health from medicine, the natural sciences and the social sciences. There will be a set of five parallel interdisciplinary workshops aimed at bring together and synthesizing fresh approaches from across these three disciplines, ready to respond to new funding opportunities ( http://www.segh.net/programme.htm).
